  • The flowers of the succulent plant are still going strong after more than a month.
  • I do like their perseverance.
  • These two buds appeared rather quickly
  • This is a day after the above picture
  • This is actually a third bud workinhg to become a flower
  • I decided it needed a back-light shot.
  • There are three more buds forming, although they don't always pan out into flowers.
  • The two original buds shown above did bloom.
  • Even as I write this, they are already gone.
  • As flowers go, I really like these. Their colors are hard to define, and their texture is almost an illusion in color.
  • I tried different depths of field . . .
  • . . . different zooms . . .
  • . . . and different angles.
  • They are visually striking.
  • It's like an explosion of pink silver.
