  • But I stopped their destruction; I saved them for others to see.
  • Yes, they are likely gone now . . . but not forgotten.
  • I did like this little patch, and it kept drawing me back.
  • Shapes.  Intricate constructions, ephemeral designs.
  • I was lucky to have the time to go and capture them, but how many more incredible constructions have come and gone over the years?
  • There is no purpose here, no design . . . stuff just happens.
  • Beauty appearing and gone in a flash, save for the occasional idiot that looks . . .
  • . . . grabs a camera . . .
  • . . . and decides to look a bit closer.
  • So close that one forgets this is all of an inch amid miles and miles of melting snow.
  • Can't help but play with various light, white balance, contrast, fill light, exposure, saturation, and anything else that offers me an opportunity to see this in as many ways as I can.
  • Neat.
  • Last one . . . my knee is sore, bu shoulder is killing me, and I must force myself away from all this . . .
  • But one more won't hurt.  <br />
